Suthin Sukosolvisit
Suthin Sukosolvisit has been a bonsai artist since 1970. He and his wife, Dararat, opened the Royal Bonsai Garden, Inc. in Stoughton, MA. His work can be viewed on the internet at www.royalbonsaigarden.com. Suthin has one of the finest selections of finished and pre-bonsai on the East Coast displayed at his nursery. Being from Thailand, he has extensive experience with tropical bonsai and is also a magician with shohin sized bonsai. He also works extensively with Japanese maples, black pine and root over rock styles and is proficient with many other species. Mr. Sukosolvisit is considered to be without equal as far as shohin bonsai in the states. He lectures all around the world, and has been the headliner at some of the biggest bonsai conventions in the United States. Mr. Sukosolvisit says plant enthusiasts who create bonsai can rejoice in "a four-season, living art." He is a very humble, gracious and quiet person whose talent will absolutely astound and amaze.
Suthin Sukosolvisit bonsai have amassed several National Bonsai Awards in Thailand and United States. His expertise includes tropical bonsai as well as Japanese maple, Juniper, Azalea, Black Pine and many other species. Mr. Sukosolvisit shares new information and techniques whenever he teaches. His Bonsai are known for their proportion, refinement and detail. He is mostly admired for his remarkable Shohin Bonsai designs.
Suthin Sukosolvisit is one of the most highly regarded speakers in the country and Milwaukee Bonsai Society has been privileged to have him as a presenter and workshop artist several times over the years. He recently donated one of his Shimpakku bonsai to the Bonsai at Lynden Collection where we can all enjoy it.

Currently, Suthin Sukosolvisit is “Artistic Director” for the Bonsai Exhibit at Lynden Sculpture Garden. LSG volunteers often work with Suthin on the collection trees.
