The Milwaukee Bonsai Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals in their efforts to increase their knowledge and skills in the art of bonsai. MBS also seeks to foster an increased awareness of the art of bonsai and of the Society's activities among the general public of Southeastern Wisconsin
The origins of the Milwaukee Bonsai Society go back to the summer of 1969. In each step along the way our volunteers drive our mission. We rely on the help of our bonsai friends to help support our efforts. Please consider giving a gift to the MBS.
There are many ways for you to support MBS; through membership, the general operating fund, sponsorship of an exhibit or event, a charitable planned gift or through a gift made in tribute to a friend or family member.

Established by a generous gift from the estate of Anna Stadnicka through her sister Katarzyna. Funds for this program are used exclusively for an educational series of bonsai artist. Your tax deductable gift ensures that MBS may pursue its mission: helping individuals in their efforts to increase their knowledge and skills in the art of bonsai.
It has always been a goal of MBS to have a bonsai collection available for public view. A huge step toward realizing this goal took place in 2013 when Jack D. proposed a Challenge Grant to raise funds for this purpose. All funds donated in response to Jack's Challenge Grant have been deposited into an interest bearing account and can only be used to establish a public bonsai collection in the Milwaukee area under the joint guidance of the Milwaukee Bonsai Society and the Milwaukee Bonsai Foundation. Any future donations designated for the Public Bonsai Collection Fund will be added to these funds.
MBS qualifies as a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Gifts to MBS are deductible at the highest limits allowed for federal income or estate tax purposes.
Estate Tax Deductions
Testamentary gifts are deductible at 100 percent of the value of the assets donated to MBS.
